Fence line photos

Some photos of what is happening around here, which appear to show a breach of the conditions of the resource consent through the indiscriminate felling of trees.

In Auckland, it made the news for a week when a 500yo Kauri was threatened. This Ecosystem out back here is 400yo, and countless trees are threatened, yet these developers are celebrated by the community! Why?!

  1. I would like to hear from those taking the photos if tape or markers where visible along the clear felling as stated in the resource consent document by the independent commissioner.

It looks as if the track has fallen prey to an economic overrun and it’s a matter of pure and simple bulldozing to keep within budget. Does anyone know? And how much conservation land is being lost?
